Email Aliases allow for forwarding emails to multiple recipients

Recently I encountered a problem with a customer of mine.  I provide a 3rd party hosting solution for them and they wanted to have emails sent to one of their email addresses forwarded to 9 people.  The problem was that my host only allows for forwarding to 1 person so I was stumped.  Then I saw the link to create an email alias and after a little research I knew how to solve my problem.  You can create an email alias which is like a virtual email address and associate multiple email addresses to that alias.  So I named my alias quoterequests@mydomain.com and in the text area provided I listed a comma delimited list of email addresses.  Now I forwarded all emails sent to sales@mydomain.com to quoterequests@mydomain.com and the forwarding worked like a charm.
